AWS Architect

Position Name – AWS Architect Type of hiring – Fulltime Location – Markham, ON L6G 0G1 (Mandatorily need to visit office 3 days – Mon/Tue/Wed) NOTE: First round will be Virtual and 2nd customer round will be in-person please inform candidates. Candidate needs to be onsite Mon/Tue/Wed (this is mandatory) Job Description: Required Skills & Experience 12+ Years in IT infrastructure, with 6+ Years hands-on AWS architecture and operations in enterprise/managed-services environments. AWS Professional-level certification (Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional) strongly preferred. Deep, hands-on expertise across VPC, EC2, ECS, Lambda, RDS, IAM (execution), EventBridge, CloudWatch, and AWS-native backup/DR. Strong Terraform / IaC engineering — state management, modular design, pipeline-driven deployment. Working knowledge of CI/CD (Azure DevOps, GitHub) and change management integration (ServiceNow/CAB). Familiarity with enterprise observability (Dynatrace, Datadog, Instana, CloudWatch) and ITSM operations. Proven ability to operate within client-owned cloud governance (Landing Zone, Control Tower, IAM policy) — clear on the execute-vs-govern boundary. Solid grasp of hybrid estates and coordination with on-prem/middleware teams. Preferred / Nice to Have BFSI / Insurance domain experience. Exposure to middleware-adjacent environments (WMB, JBoss Fuse, ActiveMQ, DataPower, Spring Boot) and batch/job scheduling. Experience in transition/steady-state managed services and multi-vendor delivery models.
