Perform engineering and operational activities supporting data security services, including service delivery, task automation, DevOps activities, and participation in an on-call rota. Onboard new DevOps tools and maintain existing platforms to address business requirements and ensure effective integration with the Firm’s technology ecosystem. Collaborate with the Data Discovery Squad and broader Technology stakeholders to enhance services through automation, scripting, and effective observability solutions. Participate in design and code reviews across the Data Discovery Squad and relevant stakeholder groups. Contribute actively to the team’s Agile operating model, ceremonies, and delivery practices. Facilitate knowledge sharing across global Data Protection squads and chapters through clear documentation, presentations, and internal communications. The position also provides opportunities to: Broaden technical expertise through challenging engineering initiatives and the application of emerging technologies, including cloud data governance, with access to specialists across the Firm. Develop a deeper understanding of the financial services industry through engagement with business stakeholders and participation in relevant industry activities and events. A self-directed approach, supported by demonstrable experience in the technical and application support of enterprise systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, together with a professional and collaborative working style. A strong automation and orchestration mindset, with a focus on reducing manual processes and enabling product squads to devote greater capacity to engineering activities.
