Key Responsibilities * Main duties and day-to-day tasks expected from the resource Design, implement, and manage enterprise CI/CD pipelines supporting banking applications, APIs, microservices, and digital platforms. Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines using GitHub, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Manage application deployments across Azure and AWS cloud environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Implement DevSecOps controls including code quality gates, security scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance automation. Administer and optimize SonarQube quality gates, code coverage, and technical debt management processes. Design and maintain Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS, and EKS deployment platforms. Collaborate with development, security, infrastructure, SRE, and architecture teams to ensure reliable delivery of banking solutions. Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, disaster recovery, backup, and operational processes. Support release management, environment management, production deployments, and incident resolution activities. Required Skills * Primary technical and functional skills Strong hands-on experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, GitHub Enterprise, and Azure DevOps. Expert knowledge of CI/CD pipeline design, implementation, and optimization. Hands-on experience with SonarQube, SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and secure SDLC practices. Strong expertise in Azure services including Azure DevOps, AKS, Key Vault, App Services, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor. Strong expertise in AWS services including EKS, EC2, ECS, IAM, CloudWatch, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, OpenShift, and container orchestration platforms. Strong scripting experience using Shell, PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or CloudFormation. Required Experience / Knowledge Areas * Specific domain or industry knowledge required 5+ years of DevOps engineering experience in enterprise environments. Experience supporting banking, financial services, digital channels, API platforms, or mission-critical systems. Strong understanding of API and microservices deployment strategies. Experience implementing DevSecOps controls and regulatory compliance requirements. Knowledge of cloud-native architecture, resilience, high availability, disaster recovery, and platform observability. Experience with Agile, DevOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering practices. Familiarity with change management, CAB approvals, release governance, and audit requirements in regulated environments. Good-to-Have Skills Additional skills that are an advantage but not mandatory Experience with Kong API Gateway, Azure API Management. Experience implementing GitOps using Github. Knowledge of Kafka, Event Hub or messaging platforms. Experience with Dynatrace, and AppDynamics. Exposure to FinOps, cloud cost optimization, and platform governance frameworks. Knowledge of banking security standards, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, OWASP, and NIST frameworks. Key Deliverables * Expected outputs and outcomes from the resource Automated CI/CD pipelines achieving secure and reliable application deployments. Deployment and management of applications across Azure and AWS platforms. Implementation of SonarQube quality gates and DevSecOps controls across delivery pipelines. Infrastructure provisioning through Infrastructure as Code and automation standards. Monitoring, observability, and operational dashboards for production workloads. Compliance with security, audit, availability, performance, and resilience requirements. Reduced deployment lead times and improved release success rates across platforms. Certifications Required AWS Certified, PMP, CISSP, Azure, ITIL Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or AWS DevOps Engineer Professional ITIL Foundation Preferred Certified DevSecOps Professional (Preferred) Software Engineer - DevOps in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
