Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Driver role located in Dar es-Salaam. The Driver will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport food, supplies, and equipment between the restaurant, storage locations, and vendors. Day-to-day tasks include planning routes, loading and unloading items, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining accurate delivery records. The role also involves performing basic vehicle inspections, reporting maintenance needs, and complying with local traffic and safety regulations. The Driver will interact with internal staff and external partners and is expected to represent Tanapa professionally and courteously at all times. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Truck Driving skills and be comfortable operating a Truck safely and efficiently. Candidates should hold a valid CDL Class A license or equivalent appropriate commercial driving certification. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with restaurant staff, suppliers, and logistics partners. Candidates should demonstrate solid Customer Service skills when interacting with vendors and representing the company. Clean driving record and thorough understanding of local traffic laws and safety practices. Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues promptly. Reliable time management skills and ability to follow delivery schedules and instructions. Physical ability to lift and move food products and supplies as required for loading and unloading. Previous experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver in hospitality, food service, or related industries is an advantage.
