ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager or Senior Sales Executive to drive business growth for our Industrial Software and IT/Engineering Services portfolio in the Vietnamese market. This is a customer-facing business development role with ownership across the end-to-end sales cycle — from identifying new opportunities and engaging key decision-makers to developing solutions, negotiating, and closing deals . You will work closely with our Delivery and Technical Expert teams to translate customer business challenges into relevant technology and engineering solutions, while building long-term strategic relationships with customers. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record in B2B technology or engineering services sales , particularly in areas such as MES, Industrial IoT, ESG solutions, software development, software validation, or related digital/engineering services . Your Key Responsibilities Lead Generation: Develop and execute effective lead generation strategies to identify and qualify potential customers Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and nurture a robust sales pipeline to drive revenue growth. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers. Thought Leadership: Develop and deliver thought leadership content (e.g., presentations, articles, webinars) to position the company as an industry expert and attract potential customers. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Delivery and Expert teams to ensure smooth project execution, address customer needs, and provide exceptional service. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities. Sales Process Improvement: Continuously refining sales processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Information Technology , or a related field. 8+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management within the software, IT, engineering, or technology industry. Proven track record in selling Industrial Software and/or IT & Engineering Services , such as: Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Industrial IoT / Industry 4.0 solutions ESG or sustainability-related digital solutions Software development services Software testing and validation services Other industrial digitalization or engineering services Demonstrated ability to develop new accounts and close complex B2B deals . Strong skills in prospecting, consultative/solution selling, negotiation, and stakeholder management. Good understanding of the Vietnamese B2B technology and industrial market . Strong business communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with technical, engineering, and delivery teams. Fluent communication skills in Vietnamese and English . It'd be great advantage (not mandatory) if you have: Experience selling Industrial Software, IT, or Engineering Services to large enterprises or multinational corporations . An established network with relevant business and technology decision-makers in Vietnam . Experience working with customers in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, electronics, industrial engineering, or related sectors . Experience using CRM and sales enablement tools for pipeline and opportunity management. If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
