Key Responsibilities - Tender & Bid Management Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contract conditions, Analyze project scope, technical requirements, and commercial risks, Prepare pre-bid queries and assist in technical clarifications, Support preparation and submission of tender documents within stipulated timelines. Cost Estimation & Quantity Take-Off Perform quantity take-offs from engineering drawings and BOQs, Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil, pipeline, mechanical, and associated infrastructure works, Develop item-wise cost sheets covering materials, labour, equipment, transportation, temporary works, overheads, contingencies and profit margins, Verify BOQ quantities and identify discrepancies. Rate Analysis & Pricing Prepare detailed rate analysis for schedule and non-schedule items, Develop productivity-based cost calculations for labour and machinery, Evaluate market rates and optimize project pricing while maintaining profitability, Prepare bid summaries and pricing recommendations for management approval. Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, Prepare comparative statements and evaluate commercial offers, Coordinate with procurement and project teams for cost inputs and technical clarifications. Cost Database & Reporting Maintain updated databases for material prices, labour rates, equipment costs, vendor information, and historical project data, Prepare estimation reports, bid summaries, assumptions, and management presentations, Monitor market trends affecting construction costs. Project Experienceе Experience in estimation and costing for: Water Supply Projects, Sewerage Networks, Water Treatment Plants (WTP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Transmission & Distribution Pipelines, Pumping Stations, ESR/OHSR/GLSR, Intake Wells, Civil Structures, Road Restoration Works, Pipelines, EPC and Turnkey Infrastructure Projects. Technical Skills Cost Estimation and Budgeting, BOM Preparation, BOQ Preparation and Verification, Rate Analysis, Tender Pricing, Vendor Evaluation, Cost Optimization, Contract Interpretation, Construction Methodology, Risk Assessment Software Skills Microsoft Excel (Advanced), PDF and document management software Qualifications Education Bachelor'sDegreo B.E/B.Tlech)n Civl Enginering. Key Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Excellent understanding of construction costs and estimation principles, Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications, Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills, Effective communication and coordination with multidisciplinary teams, High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work under strict tender deadlines.
