Role Description The Senior Corporate Accountant at The Bold Side is a full-time, on-site role based in Miami Gardens, FL. This role is responsible for managing general ledger activities, preparing and reviewing journal entries, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings. The Senior Corporate Accountant will prepare financial statements, reconcile accounts, analyze variances, and support budgeting and forecasting processes. The role includes overseeing compliance with accounting standards and internal controls, coordinating with auditors, and providing financial insights to management to support strategic decision-making. The Senior Corporate Accountant will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, implement best practices, and support special projects and process improvements. Qualifications Strong knowledge of corporate accounting, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and account reconciliation. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making. Familiarity with GAAP, internal controls, audit coordination, and compliance with regulatory and corporate policies. Proficiency in accounting and ERP software, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work with large data sets. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in financial work. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, client-focused consulting environment. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or progress toward certification is highly preferred. Several years of progressive corporate accounting experience, ideally in consulting, professional services, or multi-entity environments.
