Senior Dental Designer— Exocad

Role Overview A fully remote senior dental designer with strong esthetic and functional design judgment and hands-on experience in Exocad. This role supports LabCast's dental lab clients by producing accurate, efficient digital designs across smile design, no-prep veneers, and bar design cases, meeting clinical and production standards. Experience with implant-supported restorations (All-on-4 and All-on-6) is a plus. Candidates may come from a dental laboratory technician background or have equivalent design experience — a dental technician license or formal orthodontic background is not required, though orthodontic case experience is a plus. Key Responsibilities Design cases in Exocad with a focus on esthetics and function, including smile design (diagnostic wax-ups), no-prep veneers, and bar design Review case files, scans, and prescriptions to ensure design accuracy, fit, and esthetic outcome Design full-arch implant restorations (All-on-4 and All-on-6 protocols) as case volume requires Collaborate with production and QA teams to resolve design issues or case-specific questions Meet case turnaround times while maintaining consistent quality standards Communicate with U.S.-based lab clients to clarify design specifications when needed Maintain organized digital case records and documentation Required Qualifications Senior-level, demonstrated experience designing in Exocad Strong esthetic and functional design skills Specific experience with smile design (diagnostic wax-ups) and no-prep veneers (snap-on) Experience with bar design cases Background as a dental lab technician or equivalent hands-on dental design experience Strong understanding of the case workflow, from scan to final restoration English proficiency sufficient for written and verbal case communication Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases with attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience with implant-supported full-arch restorations (All-on-4 and All-on-6) Experience with orthodontic appliance design (not required, but a plus) Familiarity with other dental design software (3Shape, DS Core, etc.) Prior experience working with U.S. dental labs or DSOs Work Style & Competencies Detail-oriented with a strong eye for esthetics, anatomical accuracy, and fit Comfortable working remotely and managing a steady case volume Self-managed and deadline-driven Collaborative, with clear communication across production and QA teams
