Location: Chicago, IL (Wrigley Building) Work Model: Hybrid (Onsite: Monday - Wednesday) Compensation: $70,000-$90,000 + annual bonus Position Summary Oil-Dri Corporation of America is seeking a Business & Financial Analyst to support the Retail and Wholesale divisions through financial analysis, business reporting, pricing administration, and customer profitability analysis. This position plays a critical role in helping business leaders make informed decisions by transforming large volumes of financial, sales, customer, pricing, and promotional data into actionable insights. Partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Brokers, and Deduction Management, the Business & Financial Analyst helps drive pricing execution, forecasting, business planning, customer analysis, and financial reporting while ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal controls. The Opportunity Partner directly with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and senior business leaders Gain exposure to customer profitability, pricing strategy, forecasting, and business performance analysis Develop advanced analytical, financial modeling, and data management skills Work with large datasets and critical business processes that directly impact company performance Build broad experience across finance, commercial operations, customer management, and CPG business analytics Join a stable organization where your analysis influences key business decisions Primary Responsibilities Maintain customer pricing, contracts, promotional programs, commissions, accruals, and master data records Manage, validate, reconcile, and analyze large volumes of financial and customer data Support pricing administration and coordinate implementation of approved price changes Prepare customer proformas for pricing actions, trade programs, promotional investments, and new business opportunities Maintain customer agreements, Deal Planner records, trade contracts, and supporting documentation Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to support business planning and customer initiatives Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports to support forecasting, planning, and decision-making Analyze customer, pricing, sales, and profitability data to identify trends and opportunities Research and resolve customer deductions and discrepancies Support month-end close activities, internal controls, and audit requests Develop reporting tools and process improvements that enhance business visibility and efficiency Support special projects and strategic business initiatives as assigned Candidate Profile Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Analytics, or related field Two or more years of experience in financial analysis, business analysis, reporting, pricing, sales operations, or related analytical roles Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently Strong communication and business partnership skills Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities Preferred Experience Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience Financial planning, forecasting, or business analysis experience Pricing, trade promotion, customer profitability, or sales analytics experience ERP system experience Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools Knowledge of SOX controls and financial compliance requirements About Oil-Dri Oil-Dri Corporation of America is a leading specialty minerals manufacturer serving consumer and business-to-business markets.
