Job Summary: We are looking for a Database Developer / Data Engineer with strong expertise in SingleStore database optimization and Python scripting . The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving database performance, developing automation solutions, and supporting data-intensive applications. Experience with MongoDB is desirable and will be considered an added advantage. Experience : 3 - 5 Years Location : Bangalore Mode of Work : Hybrid Key Responsibilities: Optimize and tune SingleStore databases for performance, scalability, and reliability. Analyze and troubleshoot slow-running queries, indexing issues, and database bottlenecks. Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, data processing, monitoring, and system integration. Design and implement efficient data workflows and ingestion processes. Monitor database health and proactively identify performance improvement opportunities. Collaborate with application development and engineering teams to support business requirements. Perform database maintenance activities, capacity planning, and performance analysis. Create and maintain technical documentation for database solutions and operational processes. Ensure adherence to data security, governance, and best practices. Must Have Skills: 3-5 years of experience in Database Development, Data Engineering, or a related role. Strong hands-on experience with SingleStore (MemSQL). Proven expertise in database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and troubleshooting. Strong proficiency in Python scripting for automation and data processing. Advanced SQL skills with experience in writing and optimizing complex queries. Experience working with large-scale datasets and high-volume transactional systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good to Have Experience or working knowledge of MongoDB. Experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture. Exposure cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of REST APIs and data integration frameworks. Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
