About the Opportunity The Business Data Analyst is responsible for supporting reporting requirements across claims and provider dispute resolution functions. This role analyzes, designs, and manages data systems, reports, and dashboards to support operational and compliance objectives. The position works across multiple data sources to extract, validate, analyze, and present information while identifying opportunities for process improvement, resolving data issues, and ensuring reporting meets required standards for accuracy and timeliness. Responsibilities • Provide data analysis and reporting solutions that support business unit operational goals • Collaborate with business units, Compliance, and project teams to define and document reporting requirements • Determine appropriate reporting approaches based on business needs and available data • Implement reporting solutions using new and existing datasets while ensuring data integrity • Support the creation and architecture of new datasets • Query multiple data sources using SQL and develop ETL processes • Create reports and dashboards using Power BI and SSRS • Analyze root causes of data and reporting errors and communicate or escalate issues as appropriate • Research and evaluate technical capabilities to support organizational requirements • Ensure reporting meets compliance standards for accuracy and timeliness • Manage assigned escalations through resolution • Conduct root cause analysis to identify opportunities for process improvement • Identify, track, and address technical debt • Define and evaluate performance metrics to measure process effectiveness • Participate in or lead change management initiatives related to process improvement Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field • Minimum of 3 years of healthcare experience in Data Analysis, Database Development, Database Administration, or a related function • Experience in a Managed Care environment preferred • Familiarity with Managed Care applications or healthcare core systems such as EzCap, IDX, Epic, FACETS, or NextGen • Experience with SSIS, Power Apps, and Power Automate is a plus Pay Range and Compensation Package • Annual salary range of $72,000 to $84,000 • Actual compensation will be based on geographic location, experience, and other job-related factors Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
