An Accountant has to perform the designated duties in accounts in collecting, analyzing, recording and reporting the financial data as per the financial, operational, QHSE norms, and standards Key Responsibility : Management: Endeavor to develop and succeed in maintaining an appropriate company image that strives towards excellence in satisfying customers Maintains professional and technical knowledge Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Technical: Prepares journal entries and reconciles general ledger and subsidiary accounts Analyzes and reconciles expenditure/revenues and designated accounts Monitors designated accounts and expenditures, ensuring data is recorded in the company’s financial accounting system Calculates and prepares reimbursement billings and tracks payables/receivables Prepare monthly invoices and statements as needed Communicate with designated parties regarding payment issues Policy and Procedure: Adheres fully to the mandated financial regulations and norms Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by performing within organizational standards and adhering to legal regulations Implementation of all related organizational policies and procedures Implementation of all related rules and regulations Ensure commitment to all QHSE regulations and procedures as per management requirements Ensure that all company assets are maintained and used properly avoiding any damage or misuse Reporting: Provides written or verbal reports in the appropriate medium and context A. Education College or University Graduate – Accounting Technical Training Certificates / licenses B. Professional Experience At least three (3) to five (5) years of work experience in professional accounting F&B business background preferable C. Competencies Required Proficiency in MS Office packages such as Word and Excel, PowerPoint Presentation; e-mail and internet, accounting principles, data research and interpretation. Knowledge of accounting, budget formulation and control Familiarity with related government and financial regulations Proficiency in English languages is a must Proficiency in Arabic is preferable Physically and mentally fit for the job D. Required Licenses/Certifications Preferable accredited licensing and certification in accounting Preferable member of the Syndicate or Chamber of Accountants
