Local Team Collaboration Join our close-knit team of 10 physicians and 6 APPs at Dwayne and Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital. Work alongside a fantastic team of emergency and hospital medicine colleagues, providing an excellent variety of pathology. Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools. Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts. Enjoy full subspecialty support, including in-house 24/7 PICU coverage. Qualifications Board-certified/eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Georgia. Authorized to work in the United States. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Scheduling Full-time or part-time nocturnist position. Our emergency department provides 38 hours of physician coverage and 24 hours of APP coverage daily. Key Responsibilities Provide top-quality patient care in a freestanding children’s hospital setting with an 18-bed ED and 14-bed pediatric ICU, seeing 45,000 patients annually. Foster collaboration and support among team members. Emphasize proper, careful, and safe patient treatment as a core focus. Use EPIC as the electronic medical record system.
