The ideal candidate has strong experience with C#, ASP.NET, and modern .NET 6/8 technologies , along with the ability to work with legacy .NET Framework 4.8 applications . This role combines software development with technical support. You will work across front-end and back-end components, troubleshoot applications across cloud and on-premises environments, collaborate directly with clients, and manage development and support activities through Azure DevOps . You will also have opportunities to leverage AI-assisted development tools and prompt engineering to improve development productivity and software quality. Training on AI-assisted development and prompt engineering will be provided. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET, and .NET 6/8 . Develop and support both front-end and back-end components of full-stack web applications. Maintain and troubleshoot legacy applications built with .NET Framework 4.8 in on-premises environments. Diagnose and resolve application issues across cloud and on-premises environments . Manage development tasks, bugs, support tickets, and work items using Azure DevOps . Collaborate directly with clients to understand technical concerns, provide updates, communicate expected resolution timelines, and support software upgrades. Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. Participate in application improvements, technical enhancements, and ongoing platform modernization initiatives. Utilize AI-powered development tools and prompt engineering techniques to improve development efficiency, code quality, troubleshooting, and overall productivity. Required Qualifications Strong professional experience developing applications using C# and ASP.NET . Hands-on experience with .NET 6 and/or .NET 8 . Experience developing and maintaining full-stack web applications . Good understanding of cloud-based application development and deployment . Experience using Azure DevOps for work item management, source control, and development workflows. Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and technical teams. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of assigned tasks. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting .NET Framework 4.8 and legacy on-premises applications. Familiarity with cloud and hybrid application environments . Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar technologies . Knowledge of prompt engineering , AI-assisted coding, or a strong willingness to learn these practices. Previous experience in technical support, application support, or customer-facing software development roles. Experience working in an environment that combines software development and production/application support .
