Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Davangere. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including bookkeeping, ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. The role involves preparing invoices, tracking payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with monthly and annual closing activities. The Accountant will support budget monitoring, help prepare basic financial reports and statements, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The person in this role will also coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and auditors to maintain accurate documentation and support smooth financial operations. Qualifications Ability to manage core accounting activities such as bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation. Skills in preparing and reviewing invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation, with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Competence in using accounting software and spreadsheets, with solid data entry and basic financial reporting skills. Understanding of fundamental accounting principles, taxation basics, and compliance requirements relevant to local regulations. Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and assist in resolving them. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams, customers, vendors, and external auditors.
