Technical Records Specialist Location: Shannon, Co. Clare (Hybrid) Employment Type: Full-time | Permanent Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience About The Opportunity We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established aviation organisation based in Shannon. This is an excellent opportunity for a Technical Records Specialist to join a dynamic team supporting the management and integrity of aircraft technical documentation in a fast-paced aviation environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring aircraft maintenance records are complete, accurate, compliant with regulatory requirements, and readily available to support ongoing operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage aircraft technical records in accordance with aviation regulatory requirements. Review aircraft maintenance documentation for completeness and accuracy. Verify that maintenance activities have been correctly recorded and certified. Ensure all aircraft records are updated within the company's maintenance tracking system. Monitor records for compliance with customer, regulatory and internal quality standards. Support aircraft transitions, lease returns, acquisitions, and deliveries through technical records reviews. Liaise with maintenance organisations, customers, and internal departments to resolve documentation queries. Assist with audits and provide technical records support during regulatory and customer inspections. Archive and organise aircraft records in both electronic and hard copy formats where required. Identify opportunities to improve records management processes and data quality. Candidate Requirements Previous experience in aircraft technical records, aircraft maintenance administration, or continuing airworthiness. Good understanding of aircraft maintenance documentation and regulatory requirements (EASA Part-145, Part-M, and/or Part-CAMO knowledge desirable). Experience using aircraft maintenance software or ERP systems is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills. Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a regulated environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team. Desirable Qualifications Aviation-related qualification or relevant technical discipline. Experience supporting commercial aircraft maintenance programmes. Familiarity with maintenance tracking systems such as AMOS, TRAX, Rusada ENVISION or similar. What Is On Offer Competitive salary.
