Marketing Manager – Brand & Demand Generation Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire Job Type: Full time/Hybrid (3 days in office) Company: Clearworld Ltd Experience: 3+ years B2B marketing experience Salary range: 35-45k DOE The Opportunity Clearworld is a growing energy technology business helping multi-site organisations reduce energy consumption, operating costs and carbon emissions through intelligent energy management, IoT technology and automated controls. We’re looking for an ambitious Marketing Manager – Brand & Demand Generation to take ownership of our marketing activity and help drive the next stage of Clearworld’s growth. This is an opportunity for someone who may be ready to make a significant step forward in their career. You might currently be a Senior Marketing Executive, Demand Generation Executive, Marketing Executive or already operating at Marketing Manager level. We're less interested in your current job title and more interested in what you can demonstrate you've achieved . We want someone prepared to take ownership, try things, measure the results and build a marketing function that has a genuine commercial impact. The Role You'll own two core areas of Clearworld's marketing strategy: Brand – building Clearworld's position as a leading energy technology and energy efficiency business. Demand Generation – creating campaigns that identify, engage and convert the organisations we want to work with. You'll work closely with the Commercial Director and wider sales team, with marketing and sales operating as one commercial function. This isn't a role where you'll simply be handed a calendar of campaigns to execute. We want someone capable of helping determine what we should be doing, why we're doing it and how we'll measure whether it's working. What You'll Be Responsible For Demand Generation Develop and execute B2B demand-generation campaigns targeting our key sectors and accounts alongside Work alongside our agency partner to develop campaigns across email, LinkedIn, paid media, SEO, website, content and other relevant channels. Work with sales to define target audiences, accounts and decision-makers. Create campaigns around specific customer problems, sectors and Clearworld solutions. Build and optimise marketing funnels from initial engagement through to qualified sales opportunity. Develop lead nurturing and account-based marketing activity. Use CRM and marketing data to understand campaign performance and continually improve conversion. Track marketing contribution to leads, opportunities, pipeline and ultimately revenue. Test new channels, propositions and campaign ideas rather than relying solely on established approaches. Brand & Content Take ownership of Clearworld's brand positioning and messaging. Develop Clearworld's presence across digital channels Build a consistent content programme covering customer results, industry insight, technology and energy efficiency. Turn technical projects and energy data into compelling commercial stories. Develop case studies demonstrating measurable customer outcomes. Support the development of sales collateral, presentations, proposals and sector-specific materials. Help establish Clearworld and its people as credible voices within energy management and energy technology. Manage and develop our event calendar Commercial & Sales Alignment Work closely with the sales team to understand target accounts, opportunities and customer challenges. Develop campaigns that directly support commercial priorities. Ensure marketing activity generates opportunities that sales genuinely want to pursue. Support major sales campaigns, events, partnerships and new propositions. Provide clear reporting on marketing performance and pipeline contribution. What We're Looking For You'll have 3+ years of B2B marketing experience and be able to demonstrate that you've already taken meaningful ownership of marketing activity. You don't necessarily need to have held a Marketing Manager title before. You do need to be able to show us why you're ready for it. We're particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate: Campaigns they've personally developed and delivered. Measurable lead, opportunity, pipeline or revenue generation. Strong B2B content and messaging skills. Experience using data to improve marketing performance. Understanding of CRM and marketing automation. Experience across digital marketing channels. An ability to work effectively with sales teams. Commercial thinking rather than focusing solely on marketing metrics. Examples of taking responsibility beyond their existing job description. The confidence to make decisions and explain the thinking behind them. Experience within energy, technology, SaaS, IoT, building technology, facilities management or another technical B2B environment would be useful, but isn't essential. The Person We're looking for someone ambitious who wants to build something. You'll probably enjoy this role if you're the type of person who: Wants greater ownership than your current role gives you. Is comfortable working in a growing business where not everything has already been built. Can move between strategy and actually getting things done. Likes experimenting with new ideas but uses data to decide whether they're working. Is comfortable challenging existing thinking. Understands that good B2B marketing needs to create commercial outcomes. Can take a technical proposition and communicate why it matters to a customer. Wants their contribution to be visible and measurable. You won't have a huge marketing department around you, so you'll need to be comfortable being hands-on as well as strategic . Why Clearworld? You'll be joining at a point where marketing can have a significant influence on the future direction of the business, following big wins with clients like Costa and Wagamamas. Rather than inheriting a mature marketing machine, you'll have the opportunity to help build one. You'll work directly with the commercial team, have visibility across the business and be given genuine responsibility for how Clearworld goes to market. For the right person, this role offers the opportunity to prove they can operate at Marketing Manager level and develop towards a future Head of Marketing position as the business grows. We're interested in people who are prepared to back themselves - but who can also show us why we should back them.

In your interview, expect this question: 'Tell us about a time you measured the success of a campaign.' Marketing hiring managers ask this because they want proof you think in metrics, not hunches.
