Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Truck Driver role based in Moita. The Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating company vehicles to transport goods between designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules. Daily tasks include inspecting vehicles before and after trips, securing loads, completing delivery documentation, and communicating with dispatch and logistics staff. The role involves adhering to traffic laws and company safety policies, managing basic vehicle maintenance issues, and representing Tauretrans professionally when interacting with customers and partners. The driver will also help ensure timely deliveries, report any incidents or delays, and support continuous improvement of transport operations. Qualifications Valid commercial driving license appropriate for heavy vehicles and a clean driving record. Proven experience as a truck or delivery driver, with knowledge of local and regional routes around Moita and surrounding areas. Strong understanding of road safety regulations, load securing practices, and basic vehicle maintenance checks. Ability to read and follow route plans, delivery notes, and transport documentation accurately. Good communication skills and professional customer service attitude when dealing with clients and colleagues. Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Physical ability to handle loading and unloading activities as required by the route. Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on operational needs. Experience in logistics or freight transport and familiarity with basic digital tools (e.g., GPS, mobile apps) is an advantage.
