Candidates can expect a setting where initiative and continuous improvement are appreciated. Role Description The Deputy Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Phnom Penh. This position supports the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Daily tasks include tracking project schedules, overseeing expediting and logistics, coordinating inspections, and preparing progress reports and documentation. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to resolve issues, maintain quality standards, and manage risks. The Deputy Project Manager also helps optimize processes, supports budget and resource management, and ensures compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations. Qualifications Candidates should possess skills in Expeditor and Expediting to ensure materials, equipment, and services are delivered on time and in line with project requirements. Candidates should possess strong Project Management skills to assist with planning, scheduling, risk management, and coordination of project activities. Candidates should possess Inspection skills to help verify quality, compliance, and adherence to specifications and safety standards. Candidates should possess Logistics Management skills to coordinate transportation, storage, and distribution of project resources efficiently. Relevant additional qualifications include strong organizational and time-management abilities, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in basic office software. Effective communication skills in spoken and written language, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders, are important. Prior experience in project coordination or management in construction, manufacturing, or related fields is beneficial. A diploma or degree in project management, engineering, business, or a related discipline is an advantage but not strictly required if experience is demonstrated.
