Team members collaborate closely with families to support each child’s unique strengths and needs. Role Description The PreK Lead Teacher is a full-time, on-site role located in Fulshear, TX. This role is responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that support early literacy, numeracy, social-emotional growth, and motor skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating a structured yet playful classroom environment, leading small and large group instruction, monitoring student progress, and adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs. The PreK Lead Teacher will communicate regularly with families about student development, collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and school initiatives, and maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom. Additional duties include preparing instructional materials, supporting classroom routines, documenting observations, and participating in ongoing professional development and staff meetings. Qualifications Strong foundation in Education, including early childhood development and age-appropriate instructional practices. Demonstrated Teaching experience in a PreK or early childhood setting, with the ability to manage a classroom and support diverse learners. Proficiency in Lesson Planning to design engaging, standards-aligned, and developmentally appropriate learning activities. Effective Communication skills for interacting with children, families, and colleagues, including clear verbal and written communication. Preferred qualifications include an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, relevant teaching certifications, and familiarity with state early learning standards.
