Position: Guidewire ClaimCenter Business Analyst Location: San Diego, CA – Hybrid Duration: Long-term Job description: Key Responsibilities: Hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter requirements gathering Through self-directed activities, act as liaison between business users and technical groups using superior communication skills to elicit, document, analyse, and validate Experience operating and interfacing with business management, including negotiation and presentation skills Proven track record of creating clear, concise deliverables that reflect a deep understanding of business needs and the out-of-the-box functionality of Guidewire ClaimCenter Strong initiative; able to self-manage, comfortable with ambiguity and able to work through it to get the right things done Technical Skills: Guidewire ClaimCenter SVN, Rally, HPQC, Jira Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter interfaces Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Must Have Skills: ACE or Associate Certified in Guidewire ClaimCenter Gathered, analysed, and documented business and technical requirements from both formal and informal sessions and validated the needs of the business stakeholders, thereby drafting the Business Requirement Document BRD and assisting in defining the Technical Design Document TDD and System Specification Document SSD Hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter requirement gathering Utilized the guidelines and artifacts of Guidewire to develop detailed requirements of OOTB Functions and customizations Developed business requirements, documenting workflow and process for Guidewire ClaimCenter Actively participated in SCRUM meetings and ensured all Agile project techniques were used in accomplishing the tasks based on the deadlines Worked with SCRUM Master, Business Owners, Project Sponsor, SME and Guidewire Consultants to define the Product Backlog and Sprint Backlog and estimate efforts for user stories Worked with the business and developers for requirement clarifications Good to have: Minimum one end-to-end implementation experience of Guidewire ClaimCenter Experienced with Agile Scrum methodology and business analysis methodologies Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; understands communication channels and escalates appropriately AINS 21222324 Certification Skills Mandatory Skills: Guidewire-ClaimCenter
