Role Description The Sales Account Manager (ICT) role is a part-time, on-site position based in Gaborone. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, building strong relationships, and ensuring that ICT solutions and services meet client needs and expectations. The Sales Account Manager will identify and qualify new leads, prepare proposals, deliver product and service presentations, and coordinate with technical teams to design appropriate solutions. The role includes monitoring customer satisfaction, resolving service issues in collaboration with support teams, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of ProComm’s managed security, communications, network, and cloud offerings. The Sales Account Manager will also track sales performance, maintain accurate records in CRM tools, and contribute to sales forecasts and planning. Qualifications Strong account management skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships and manage multiple accounts effectively. Customer service and customer satisfaction skills, including responsiveness, issue resolution, and a commitment to high-quality service delivery. Lead generation and prospecting skills, with experience identifying new business opportunities and converting leads into sales. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ICT solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Understanding of ICT managed services, including security, unified communications, networks, cloud, and related vendor technologies. Proven sales or business development experience in ICT or related industries is highly beneficial. Ability to work on-site in Gaborone, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Business, Sales, or a related field is advantageous, along with vendor certifications being a plus.
