To strengthen their central data platform team, we are seeking an experienced professional who seamlessly combines strategic architecture with hands-on platform engineering. In this role, you will play a key part in advancing the organization-wide Data Mesh. Key Responsibilities In this combined position, you will act as both the architect and the engineer: • Solution Architecture: Advise on data technologies, safeguard the long-term vision, and align the platform architecture with the overall enterprise strategy and data governance principles. • Hands-on Engineering: Actively contribute to building the core data stack, troubleshoot complex technical challenges, and foster engineering best practices. • Stakeholder Alignment: Translate business and technical requirements into actionable epics and roadmaps, maintaining strong collaboration with Product Owners, Data Domain Architects, and the broader data community. Technical Profile & Stack We are looking for a professional with deep expertise in modern data stacks and data modeling principles: • Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS • Orchestration & Data Processing: Apache Airflow, Apache Spark • Data Warehousing & Transformation: Snowflake, dbt • Architecture Principles: Data Mesh, Distributed Data Architectures, CI/CD Qualifications & Soft Skills • Proven experience in platform engineering paired with solution architecture expertise. • Strong foundation in modern data stacks, scalability, and data modeling. • Clear and empathetic communicator skilled at explaining complex technical concepts to both engineering peers and business stakeholders. • Proactive, hands-on mindset dedicated to delivering a seamless user experience across the data platform.
