Company Description The Tech Planner (TTP) is India’s first CRM platform designed specifically for event management, helping planners replace multiple disconnected tools with one unified system. TTP brings together guest data, logistics, room blocks, and real-time flight tracking on a single platform, giving event teams clear visibility at every stage. By reducing operational complexity, the company enables event planners to focus on creating impactful experiences rather than managing manual processes. TTP is built for fast-paced, detail-heavy events where reliability and coordination are essential. The organization values innovation, customer-centric thinking, and practical solutions that reduce stress for event professionals. The Role We're looking for a Sales Executive to drive TTP's growth by converting inbound leads into paying clients. This is a full-cycle sales role — you'll be on the phone with event planners daily, walking them through the product, and closing deals. Leads will be generated for you by the team; your job is to work them efficiently and convert them into onboarded clients. What You'll Do • Call and follow up with leads generated by the marketing and outreach team • Schedule and conduct product demos for event planners over call or video • Understand each planner's business and tailor the pitch to their specific needs • Handle objections, negotiate commercial terms, and close deals within TTP's pricing framework • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, calls, and deal status in the CRM • Meet monthly targets for demos conducted and deals closed What We're Looking For 2–3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally with a track record of closing deals over calls and demos Fluent in both Hindi and English — verbal communication skills are critical, since this role is almost entirely calling- and demo-led. Customer relationship management skills, including account nurturing, follow-up, and long-term retention strategies. Basic understanding of CRM or SaaS products, with the ability to learn features quickly and translate them into customer value. Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess client needs and propose appropriate solutions. Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in B2B sales, technology solutions, or event industry sales is preferred but not mandatory. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Compensation Industry standard + sales incentive on deals closed. Incentive structure will be shared in detail during the interview process. Location: Kolkata | Type: Hybrid — office 2 days/week | Experience: 2–3 years in B2B SaaS Sales Work Days: Monday – Saturday | Work Hours: 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM How to Apply Interested candidates can reach out with their resume via the contact details below. 74,689 Sales Jobs Open Right Now — Where to Look

Most are in India and the US. Here's how to pick the right one for you.

WorkMundi's database shows 74,689 open sales positions globally. India leads with 17,483 jobs, followed by the US with 13,876. If you're open to geography, you have real options — but the sheer number means you need a filter. Don't apply to everything. Pick a country, a company size, and a sales model that matches what you actually want to do.

Almost 8 in 10 of these ads have their text written in English. That's useful for reading the job description and understanding what you're signing up for. But it tells you nothing about whether the role requires you to speak English with customers, partners, or your team. Ask the hiring manager directly during your first conversation.

The employers posting the most are boxlunch, SIMPLE RECRUIT, FlexBoard, and tmobile. If you see their name on a listing, you know they're actively hiring. That can work in your favor — high-volume recruiters often move faster. But volume also means competition. Your application needs to stand out.

Sales interviews almost always include a version of this: 'Tell me about a time you lost a deal. What did you learn?' Prepare a real story where you take ownership of what went wrong and what you'd do differently. Hiring managers want to see you learn, not just win.
