Principal Data Scientist

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Data Scientist to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a technology-driven environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $206,100 – $269,075 annually Responsibilities Collaborate on product and business challenges with cross-functional teams Apply quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data presentation to develop business strategies Develop hypotheses using analytical approaches and methodologies Define and test opportunities to enhance products and influence strategic roadmaps Partner with teams to inform and execute strategic decisions Measure the success of product initiatives through key metrics forecasting and monitoring Utilize data to guide product development and ensure value delivery to stakeholders Qualifications 8+ years of experience in Data Science or related fields Proficiency in SQL and another data manipulation programming language (Python, R) Expertise in storytelling with data using visualization tools (Tableau, R-Shiny, etc.) Strong grasp of statistical concepts (regressions, A/B tests, etc.) and adaptability in their application Proven track record of impactful analytics projects that enhance business strategy Skilled in crafting analyses into well-written content Experience advising and presenting to senior executives Benefits Health and wellbeing resources Paid volunteer days Support for family engagement Access to local community initiatives Comprehensive perks and benefits program Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
