Role Description The Cashier at INELCOM will handle daily customer payments, process cash and electronic transactions, and issue receipts accurately and efficiently. The role includes balancing the cash register, reconciling payments at the end of each shift, and reporting any discrepancies promptly. The Cashier will assist customers with billing questions, provide clear information about services, and ensure a professional and courteous experience at the point of sale. Additional responsibilities may include maintaining an orderly cashier area, supporting basic administrative tasks, and coordinating with finance or accounting teams on payment records. This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Santiago Metropolitan Area. Qualifications Solid cash handling skills, including accurate transaction processing and end-of-day reconciliation. Strong customer service and communication abilities to interact clearly and respectfully with a diverse client base. Basic numeracy and attention to detail for managing payments, receipts, and transactional documentation. Familiarity with point-of-sale systems or billing software and comfort working with electronic payment methods. Reliability, integrity, and adherence to company procedures and internal controls related to cash management. Ability to work on-site full time in the Santiago Metropolitan Area and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Prior experience in cashier, retail, or front-desk roles is preferred; experience in a technology or engineering environment is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in accounting, administration, or customer service is advantageous.
