Job Summary We’re looking for a Network Engineer with the proven ability to analyze and resolve hardware and software problems and troubleshoot network performance issues. The role will operate within the IT unit under the Global IT Operations Manager. The Network Administrator role requires a good grounding with some years’ experience as a systems and network administrator either within a business or as a support engineer in remote technical support centres. Duties include but are not limited to installing, managing, and maintaining network systems to ensure the stable operations IT assets. Responsibilities: Monitor, Maintain, and Manage all network devices globally to keep them running properly Documents and enforces routing devices (routers/switches) configuration (hardening) standards Secures network system by establishing and enforcing access control policies Monitor and Utilize Internet Links Follow Change control management while implementing system changes, upgrades, and updates Provide Technical support for other teams Ensure all IT Global policies/standards and procedures are in place. Participate in security vulnerability assessment and incident response procedures Conduct Daily/ Weekly and Monthly System Health checklist Maintain safety standards in the working environment that comply with HSSE standard Make sure all Security ERs/patches/hotfixes to all network equipmentCapacity planning for system upgrade Fully understand Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) for business continuity. Make sure the compliant with DRP. Join the project team for DR Exercise Technical Representative at his/ her site for solving Crisis problems. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline CCNA certification or higher is an advantage ITIL v3 or ISO20000 experience is an advantage but is not required Networking: general knowledge of devices, LAN/WAN concepts, data transmission, routing, protocol stack, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, firewalls. General understanding of OSPF, HSRP, BGP Familiar with Cisco switches and Routers as well as HP switches, Ubiquity. CCNA or Network+ is an advantage General overview of Active Directory – concept, topology, general admin tasks Additional knowledge in cloud technologies is an advantage Experience in IT Service Management for Incident, Change and Configuration Management Willing to learn, test and evaluate new security technologies, systems and services Good Troubleshooting / Analysing / Investigation skills Capable of being self-managed, self-driven and self-initiative

If you just finished reading one job ad and felt paralyzed by choice, you're not alone—but this scale is actually an advantage. It means you can afford to be selective.
Start by geography and language. The majority of engineer ads—117,837 of them—have the job posting text written in English. Use that as one filter, but remember: the ad text language tells you nothing about whether the role actually requires you to speak English day-to-day. Read the job description carefully. Then check which countries have the volume you're targeting. Singapore, Poland, and Australia round out the top five after India and the US.
Next, learn who's hiring. Accenture has posted 2,801 engineer roles. andurilindustries, speechify, and jobgether are also actively recruiting. If you're applying to one of these names, research their hiring patterns and interview style before you apply. That homework pays off.
When you interview, expect the question every engineer hears: 'Tell me about a time you had to debug a problem that wasn't in your job description.' Have a specific story ready—not a general one. Name the tools, the deadline pressure, and what you learned. Hiring managers listen for whether you see problem-solving as part of the role itself, not a favour.
