At Claimlane, we're looking for a problem solving focused Product Designer. You'll spend most of your time talking directly to customers to understand how they work through their problems today, then shape and validate the right solution with the team and finally design the solution. This is a problem-solving role first, design second. You will enjoy this role if you are curious, work fast, and appreciate the opportunity to have a huge impact on our product. About Claimlane Claimlane is a rapidly growing B2B SaaS scale-up. We fix complex claims and returns processes for top retailers and brands like Matas, Coolshop, Black Diamond, and Tonies. We're looking for A-players who want to make a difference and grow with the business. We value a strong positive attitude, a high sense of ownership, and long-term thinking. Attitude beats talent. We want to build a billion-dollar business, and part of that is building a team with billion-dollar potential. The Role You will spend the majority of your time solving problems, not producing designs & screens. That process starts with talking directly to customers and the team, mapping out how customers work through a problem today, and building a clear, written definition of how to build a better solution for them. Only once the problem is deeply understood do you shape a solution, and even then, you validate it with real customer feedback before treating it as done and ready to be designed. You will work in close collaboration with product and engineering from day one, and you will rapidly take on more independence as you build context. Within your first month, you will be solving smaller problems on your own. Within three months, you will independently own problem definition and design for solutions end to end. This is a junior-to-mid-level role built for fast growth. You do not need years of product design experience, but you do need to be an exceptional problem solver who is comfortable getting close to customers, curious about how things actually work, and eager to grow into a stronger product designer along the way. Key Responsibilities Talk directly to customers and the team to deeply understand problems and map them out. Turn ambiguous problems into clear, written problem definitions before shaping a solution. Design and ship solutions for working closely with engineering & customer facing team. Run customer and user-testing conversations and turn findings into concrete product improvements or new solutions. Gather feedback on shipped work and use it to shape the next iteration. Take on progressively larger and more ambiguous problems as you build context and trust with product and engineering. Requirements Exceptional problem solver who structures ambiguous situations into a clear definition before jumping to a solution. Comfortable talking directly to customers and mapping out their workflows to understand a problem from the ground up. Strong visual and UX sense, able to turn a well-understood problem into clean, modern, and readable designs. Clear communicator who can explain design decisions and trade-offs in handoffs to engineering, including edge cases. Quick learner who picks up new tools, product domains, and feedback fast. Balances speed and quality, knowing when good enough is the right call to keep the team moving. Low-ego, high-energy collaborator who works transparently and takes feedback well. Bonus Points If You Have Experience With Running customer interviews or user research independently. Working directly with engineers on technical constraints and trade-offs. Working in B2B SaaS or scale-up environment. Figma and modern design tooling. Location and Compensation Our office is in Nørrebro, Copenhagen, and this is an in-office role. Our team enjoys coming in, and everyone has the flexibility to shape their workday around their lifestyle. Our compensation package is competitive, and we offer an attractive warrants and stock program.
