About the role Professional working proficiency in written and verbal English is a hard requirement for this role. Your job is to communicate with our current and potential customers, in writing, on video, on social, and in direct conversation, so professional English fluency is essential. Please read on with that in mind. You'll be our first dedicated marketing hire, which means a fresh slate: no legacy campaigns to maintain and no inherited playbook to follow. You'll build the marketing function from the ground up, with a small team to help you execute and direct access to the founder to shape strategy. The role is deliberately broad. We serve multiple audiences: sellers who build their businesses on our platform today, and the end customers we’ll reach directly as we launch new consumer-facing products. The work spans content, SEO, social, community, partnerships, and analytics. The person who thrives here is a jack-of-all-trades who can zoom out to build a cohesive, prioritized plan across all of it, then zoom in and execute. What you'll own • Website content and SEO strategy: what we say, how we're found, and a deliberate plan for improving both. • Social media: channel strategy, content, and a consistent presence across the platforms that matter for our audiences. • Seller engagement: getting our current sellers excited about new features and what's coming, and helping them sell more. Their success is our growth engine. • End-user marketing: building the consumer-facing marketing motion as we launch our third-party marketplaces and our direct-to-consumer print offering. • Customer retention: improving how well we keep the customers we already have on both sides of the business. That means reducing seller churn, deepening engagement over time, and building the lifecycle work (onboarding, re-engagement, win-back) that turns first-time sellers and buyers into repeat, long-term ones. Retention matters as much as acquisition, and it's yours to own. • Affiliate program marketing: promoting the program, recruiting affiliates, and giving them what they need to succeed. • Influencer partnerships: finding creators who can produce how-to and tutorial-style content around our platform, and building relationships that get it shared. • Analytics and optimization: conversion funnels, split tests, and a habit of finding the next improvement in the data rather than by gut feel. • Customer conversations: talking directly to current and potential customers to understand what resonates, what confuses, and what’s missing. • The plan: a single cohesive, prioritized roadmap across all of the above. There are more worthwhile efforts than there is time, so sequencing them well is a core part of the job. • A small team: managing and developing the people who help you execute. Required Qualifications • Excellent written and verbal English. You'll write customer-facing copy, create and brief content, and speak directly with customers and partners. This is the top filter, and no amount of other strengths makes up for weakness here. • Marketing experience across several of the areas above (content, SEO, social, email and community, partnerships), with the versatility to cover the rest. We don’t expect depth in everything. What matters is range and the ability to learn fast. • Data fluency: you understand conversion funnels, can design and read a split test, and use metrics to decide what to do next. • A track record of prioritizing: taking a long list of possible efforts, building a coherent plan, and saying no (or "not yet") to good ideas. • Genuine willingness to talk to customers. Not surveys alone, but actual conversations. • Experience managing or leading others, even a small team or a few contractors. Strongly preferred • Experience marketing to small-business owners, online sellers, or creator and maker audiences (for example Etsy sellers, e-commerce entrepreneurs, and crafters). • E-commerce or marketplace marketing experience, especially with two-sided audiences of sellers and buyers. • An SEO track record you can point to: rankings, organic traffic growth, and content that compounds. • Affiliate or influencer program experience, whether building one, growing one, or working inside one. • Experience as an early or first marketing hire, or otherwise building a function from scratch. • Fluent use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, and similar) for content production, research, and analysis. Leverage matters when the scope is this broad. Not required • Paid advertising experience. Paid ads aren't part of our current plans, so don't rule yourself out if that's a gap in your background. The oppotunity First marketing hire, blank slate, real products with real customers, and a founder who wants a partner in figuring out what works. You'll set the direction, build the team's habits, and see the direct line between what you do and how the business grows. If you've been waiting for the role where the marketing function is actually yours, this is it. Why you'll love working here Competitive Income: Attractive salary ( 30M – 45M VND Gross ) , 13th-month salary, and annual salary review. Health & Benefits: PTI Healthcare insurance, annual health check-ups, and 12 paid leave days. Great Work-Life Balance: Monday – Friday (8:30 AM – 6:00 PM with 1.5h lunch break) Office Perks: Free parking, daily free snacks & drinks, birthday gifts, year-end party, and company trips.

Four employers are posting at scale: SIMPLE RECRUIT (1,205 jobs), ROYAL ORG PTE. LTD. (795), SKILLMATCH RECRUITMENT (435), and jobgether (371). If you see a job from one of these names, you're looking at a company that hires marketing roles repeatedly. That's a signal of stability—and a chance to learn their hiring patterns across multiple openings.
In your interview, expect this question: 'Tell us about a time you measured the success of a campaign.' Marketing hiring managers ask this because they want proof you think in metrics, not hunches. Come with a real example—conversions, clicks, revenue, engagement rate, cost per acquisition—pick the metric that mattered most. Show you track what you do.
