Senior, hands-on Network Engineer/Architect to design, deploy, and operate Cadence’s global enterprise network across data centers, campus environments, and WAN. This role ensures secure and highly available connectivity, and leads delivery of high-impact initiatives with measurable outcomes. The ideal candidate has a results-driven mindset, deep operational rigor, and a proven track record of executing complex network programs end-to-end. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver scalable, resilient Data Center, Campus Network solutions using Cisco, Arista, HPE, and Aruba platforms. Support WAN operations such as internet edge, and SD-WAN integrations with consistent routing and security posture. Lead complex troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and implement preventive changes to prevent incidents and unscheduled outages. Partner with various teams such as Data Center, Storage, Virtualization, Windows, Unix, Cloud Ops, and Security to provide technical direction and deliver cross-domain programs Establish and maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and runbooks; ensure designs are supportable and operationally ready. Operationalize delivered solutions for Day 2 operations, including monitoring/alerting, capacity planning, lifecycle management, and change/release processes. Provide clear, timely status, risks, and tradeoffs to stakeholders; manage deliverables, timelines, and dependencies across multiple initiatives. Required Skills 12+ years of hands-on experience designing, deploying, and operating enterprise networks using Cisco/Arista and Aruba (wired/wireless) platforms. Expert-level routing and switching knowledge (BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN), high availability (MLAG/vPC, LACP), and data center networking design patterns. Strong background in network security fundamentals (segmentation, ACLs, firewall integrations, secure remote access) and partnering with Security teams on controls and audits. Hands-on experience with NAC/AAA solutions including Cisco ISE and/or Aruba ClearPass. Experience with SD-WAN design/operations and hybrid connectivity patterns is a strong plus. Experience supporting Cisco VPN, Aruba ClearPass, F5 Load Balancer is a plus. Experience with network automation and observability (e.g., scripting, templating, telemetry, monitoring/alerting) to improve reliability and reduce MTTR. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills with disciplined incident, change, and risk management practices. Strong communication skills, able to translate technical details into executive-ready updates, options, and recommendations. Thrives in dynamic environments with the ability to prioritize, manage ambiguity, and drive outcomes across competing business needs. Qualification 12–15 years of experience in enterprise network architecture, design, deployment, and operations (data center, campus, WAN and hybrid cloud). Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Cisco certification required (CCNP preferred; CCIE a strong plus). We’re doing work that matters.
