Location: Bangalore Department: Finance Reporting To: CFO / Finance Head Role Overview The Assistant Manager – Finance will focus on financial planning, MIS reporting, cost control, and business partnering across DVSI’s operations. This role is ideal for someone who can translate numbers into insights, support strategic decisions, and drive financial discipline across departments. Responsiblities Financial Planning & Analysis Assist in annual budgeting and rolling forecasts Track actuals vs budget and highlight key variances Analyze revenue, costs, and profitability across projects and departments Support leadership with data-driven financial insights MIS & Reporting Prepare monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and management summaries Build and maintain financial models and performance trackers Provide insights on business performance and key financial metrics Ensure timely and accurate reporting across functions Expense & Cost Management Monitor and control company-wide expenses against budgets Review employee reimbursements and operational spends Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements Partner with procurement and operations teams for better cost planning Business Finance Partnering Work closely with departments Support project costing, pricing strategies, and margin improvement Provide financial inputs for new projects and business initiatives Enable teams to make financially sound decisions Cash Flow & Working Capital Tracking Monitor cash flow trends and highlight potential risks Track receivables and collections with relevant stakeholders Support working capital planning and fund utilization Process Improvement and Automation Drive improvements in financial tracking and reporting systems Build automated dashboards and reporting structures Improve efficiency in financial workflows and data visibility Key Requirements Qualification: MBA Finance / B.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter Experience: 4–7 years in FP&A / Business Finance roles Experience in startup or multi-entity environments preferred Strong understanding of financial analysis and business metrics Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (mandatory) Familiarity with ERP tools (Odoo, Tally, or similar) Key Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Commercial and business-oriented mindset Excellent communication and stakeholder management High ownership and proactive approach Ability to work in a fast-paced environment What we are looking for Someone who can act as a finance partner to the business, not just a support function A professional who can simplify numbers into actionable insights A self-driven individual who can build and improve finance processes
