Risk Analyst

A leading global investment management organisation is seeking a Risk Analyst to join their Dublin office. What You'll Do Collaborate with the Head of Risk Ireland and Group Risk teams to support an effective fund risk management system built on strong governance, policies, oversight, and controls. Assist in identifying and reviewing the investment risk characteristics of all managed products, regularly overseeing delegates’ assessments of current risk levels against established limits. Engage proactively as the fund risk lead within various internal committees and provide valuable input into group-wide decision-making processes. Conduct ongoing reviews of product risk characteristics such as liquidity and market risk, monitoring tolerances set by the organisation to ensure compliance with risk profiles. Act as the primary contact for day-to-day fund risk management activities, interacting with broader teams including Investments, Product Development, and business units. Offer guidance, advice, and support across the business to help identify, assess, and manage fund risks while aspiring to become the technical expert in UCITS and AIFMD regulations. Ensure periodic stress tests and comprehensive risk analyses are conducted to measure, manage, and monitor risks associated with investment positions including sustainability risks. Work closely with group risk functions to integrate or enhance existing processes as part of the overall risk management framework for new products or change initiatives. Manage onboarding of new products by assessing asset eligibility criteria, interpreting regulatory requirements, and finalising supplemental risk documentation such as RMPs. Maintain, develop, receive, and review reports on fund/investment risk issues including significant movements in risk profiles or exposures across asset classes. What You Bring Experience working across fund risk or investments within an asset manager or fund management company is essential for this position. Strong numerical qualifications coupled with advanced MS Office skills; knowledge of SQL Server, Python, Power-BI is highly desirable.
