We are looking for a Java Software Developer to work in Lisbon! Responsibilities : Designing, implementing, and maintaining Java/Backend applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems. Delivering high availability and performance. Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle. Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code. Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging. Ensuring designs comply with specifications. Be an active member of our backend communities. Requirements : 4/5+ years of relevant experience. Strong experience in Java – Comfortable working with backend frameworks and microservices. Nice to have: Python – Familiarity with Python-based data processing and scripting. Experience with containerization (Docker) & Kubernetes – Deploy and manage scalable services efficiently. Hands-on with RabbitMQ & Redis – Message queuing and caching experience preferred. Strong problem-solving mindset – Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize critical transaction flows. Customer-focused & delivery-oriented – Ability to work with clients, prioritize business needs, and meet deadlines. Good level of English – Ability to work in an international environment.
