Configuration/ Deployment Specialist

We are currently looking for a Configuration / Deployment Specialist to manage software deployments, application environments, and release processes for mission-critical enterprise systems, working closely with development and infrastructure teams. What you will do... Support the build, integration and deployment of enterprise applications across backend systems and client devices. Manage and maintain development, testing and production environments. Configure, monitor and support software deployment and release management processes. Monitor system performance, availability and overall health, proactively identifying and resolving issues. Support project teams during system testing, deployment and implementation activities. Analyse, troubleshoot and coordinate the resolution of technical issues related to system environments. Collaborate with software vendors, contractors and internal ICT teams to ensure smooth deployment and operations. Support the deployment and maintenance of Azure-based development environments. Contribute to configuration management, automation initiatives and continuous improvement of deployment processes. Technical Skills required... Bachelor's degree (Level 6) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or another ICT-related field. Minimum 8 years of relevant IT professional experience. At least 3 years of experience in a similar role. Excellent knowledge of software deployment & release management. Experience working with RUP and/or Agile methodologies. Good knowledge of application servers. Experience with build and deployment tools, such as Ant and Azure Pipelines . Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases (RDBMS). Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (minimum B2 level). Experience in the following will be considered as an asset: Experience managing CI/CD pipelines for complex enterprise applications. Experience administering and troubleshooting ASP.NET applications hosted on Microsoft IIS . Knowledge of IIS administration , including application pools, websites, bindings, SSL certificates and authentication mechanisms. Experience with Azure DevOps . Experience working with Git-based workflows . Knowledge of Active Directory , Group Policies, service accounts, and Windows security concepts. Behavioral Attributes...
