This is a direct hire role and hybrid to downtown Chicago. Responsibilities: Provide functional and technical support for enterprise finance applications, ensuring successful execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes. Manage application configuration, system enhancements, upgrades, and issue resolution in collaboration with Finance and IT teams. Coordinate and validate technology support activities impacting enterprise financial systems. Develop and maintain user training materials, job aids, and support documentation. Identify opportunities to improve financial processes through automation and technology-enabled solutions. Assess and coordinate system change impacts across integrated applications and business functions. Maintain documentation to support SOX compliance, regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audit activities. Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple business areas to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions. Support project planning, testing, deployment, and user adoption for system initiatives and enhancements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, Financial Systems, Public Accounting, or a related business systems role. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), SOX compliance, and internal controls. Experience supporting and administering enterprise financial systems. Demonstrated project management and process improvement experience. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across all organizational levels. Proven customer-focused approach and commitment to quality and integrity. Preferred Qualifications Experience within utilities or other highly regulated industries. MBA in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related discipline. CPA or other relevant financial certification. Public Accounting experience. Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and Oracle Cloud EPM solutions. Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Reporting, Narrative Reporting, SmartView, OTBI, OACS, and FDI. Strong Microsoft 365 proficiency. Experience with Oracle Guided Learning. Experience supporting Oracle monthly and quarterly release management processes. Salary: 90K-120k
