Overview We are seeking an experienced Storage Engineer to join the Dublin Storage Engineering team. This is a hands-on infrastructure engineering role focused on deploying, operating and improving enterprise SAN, NAS and backup platforms supporting critical production workloads across Susquehanna. Working across storage, backup, Linux, Windows and virtualised environments, you will manage platform health, capacity, performance and resilience within a large-scale, multi-petabyte infrastructure. The successful candidate will have strong practical experience supporting both SAN and NAS environments, resolving complex operational issues and automating repeatable infrastructure tasks. What You'll Do Deploy, administer and maintain enterprise SAN, NAS and backup platforms across a large-scale production environment. Monitor storage health, capacity and performance, proactively identifying and resolving service risks. Troubleshoot complex storage, backup and connectivity issues across Linux, Windows and virtualised environments. Manage storage provisioning, migrations, upgrades, replication, backup, restore and disaster-recovery activities. Develop scripts and automation to improve operational efficiency, consistency and platform reliability. Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with infrastructure, application and vendor teams on projects and incidents. Experience What we're looking for Strong hands-on experience administering both Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) platforms within enterprise production environments. Experience administering Commvault or a comparable enterprise backup and recovery platform. Good working knowledge of Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, SMB and storage integration with Linux and Windows. Experience supporting storage platforms within Openstack, VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix or comparable virtualised environments. Strong systems-engineering knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, high availability, disaster recovery and production incident management. Experience with technologies such as Netapp, Pure Storage, Dell Technologies or VAST Data, alongside SAN fabric administration, Fibre Channel switching, scripting or automation tools. What We're Looking For Strong troubleshooting, systems thinking and problem-solving skills. A proactive approach to operational ownership, service improvement and risk reduction. Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively across technical teams.
