JOB TITLE NPI/CAD Analyst JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking an experienced NPI/CAD Business Analyst to support engineering organizations responsible for New Product Introduction (NPI), conceptual design, and enterprise CAD/PLM processes. This individual will be expected to possess, or quickly develop, deep knowledge of NPI engineering processes, product development workflows, and the associated CAD and PLM environments. The role serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, identifying opportunities for improvement, solving complex process challenges, and helping standardize methods across engineering organizations. Primary technologies include : Siemens NX PTC Creo Parametric PTC Windchill PLM/SPDM platforms The position extends beyond traditional production support and focuses heavily on business relationships, process improvement, data management, requirements gathering, solution design, and cross-functional collaboration. Objectives of the Role Partner with NPI engineering teams to improve processes and workflows. Drive standardization and commonality across CAD and PLM environments. Solve complex engineering and business process challenges. Create clear requirements, problem statements, and user stories. Develop conceptual solutions that can be translated into technical implementations. Promote enterprise-wide thinking while reducing complexity and customization. Tasks & Responsibilities Partner with engineering and business stakeholders supporting New Product Introduction activities. Analyze current CAD and PLM processes and recommend improvements. Troubleshoot complex user, workflow, and data-related issues. Develop requirements documentation and user stories. Create conceptual and functional solution designs. Coordinate with developers and technical teams during implementation efforts. Support CAD and PLM data management initiatives. Drive process consistency and standardization across teams. Participate in project planning and project management activities. Build relationships with engineering organizations and leadership. Support governance, conventions, methods, and best practices. Contribute to long-term CAD/PLM strategy initiatives. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline plus 4 years of experience, OR 6+ years of professional experience working with MCAD platforms. Strong experience with: Siemens NX and/or Creo Parametric Experience working with: PLM systems SPDM systems Windchill preferred Strong business analysis skills. Ability to write requirements, user stories, and problem statements. Experience troubleshooting complex engineering process issues. Strong project management and communication skills. Enterprise mindset with focus on simplification and process optimization. Preferred Qualifications Experience within a New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering organization. Turbomachinery industry experience. Conceptual design engineering experience. PLM/CAD support, administration, or training experience. Windchill administration experience. Computer Science background or strong technical aptitude. Experience with: 3D Printing Additive Manufacturing Model-Based Definition (MBD) SPDM Platforms High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments AI tools supporting CAD/PLM processes Experience supporting enterprise engineering environments.
