We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to join our team in Cracow. In this hybrid role, you will lead the design and development of backend services and APIs, contributing to both backend and frontend components using Java, Spring, React.js, and TypeScript. You will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with a talented team to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your tasks Leading technical teams and providing guidance to team members on best practices and solutions Designing, building, and supporting backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Framework Delivering end-to-end features, including frontend work with React and TypeScript as needed Implementing microservices and micro-database patterns with clear API contracts Building integrations using event-driven architecture Developing workflow-driven capabilities and integrating workflow components into services Ensuring production readiness through effective logging, error handling, resilience, and observability Driving quality through automated unit and integration testing, code scanning, and remediation of findings Containerizing applications and deploying using Docker and Kubernetes, supporting cloud services development Working in an Agile (Scrum) model and documenting processes in Confluence/Wiki Requirements Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise application development with a strong focus on backend engineering Deep expertise in Java and the Spring Framework, including Boot, Data, REST, and Security Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems Proficiency in frontend technologies, specifically React.js and TypeScript, to contribute meaningfully to UI development Strong automated testing practices, including experience with JUnit and mocking frameworks Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment Familiarity with cloud services development and API specification/documentation using Swagger or OpenAPI Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams using JIRA and Confluence Advanced level of English Willingness to work from the Kraków office twice a week Nice to have Knowledge of Risk & Compliance domain, ideally Model Risk Management Experience with Spring Integration and/or Spring Batch Familiarity with WebSockets, SSE, or binary protocols Working knowledge of workflow engines/libraries such as BPMN, Flowable, Activiti, or Drools Job no.
