Role Description The Master Plumber will perform full-time, on-site work in Lagos State, Nigeria, overseeing and executing plumbing installations, maintenance, and repair for a variety of residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing and connecting pipes, fittings, fixtures, and water systems; diagnosing and resolving plumbing issues; and supervising or guiding junior technicians where needed. The role involves inspecting existing systems, recommending improvements, and ensuring all work meets safety standards, local codes, and company quality requirements. The Master Plumber will also participate in borehole-related plumbing works, coordinate with project managers and other trades, and maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Regular interaction with clients is expected to explain findings, propose solutions, and ensure a professional, customer-focused service experience. Qualifications Strong technical skills in Plumbing and Pipe installation, including reading drawings and working with various materials and fittings. Experience in Maintenance & Repair and general Maintenance for residential and commercial plumbing systems. Ability to provide excellent Customer Service, including clear communication, professionalism, and respectful client interaction. Proven experience as a master or senior plumber, with knowledge of local plumbing codes, safety standards, and best practices. Relevant trade certification, license, or vocational training in plumbing or a closely related field. Ability to work on-site in Lagos State, Nigeria, including physically demanding tasks and outdoor conditions. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with borehole systems or water supply infrastructure is an advantage.
