Junior Web Designer

Bavarian Capital is adding a Junior Web Designer to our team to support a long term engagement with an Amsterdam based logistics client. This role is essential for creating the digital interfaces that will help organize and clarify complex supply chain data for our partners. About the role The Junior Web Designer will work as part of our internal design group, assisting in the creation and maintenance of web based platforms. You will collaborate with our investment analysts and technical developers to ensure that every visual element serves a clear purpose. What you will do Create wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize website structures and user flows. Develop visual layouts for web pages that adhere to the established brand guidelines of the firm and our logistics client. Assist in the production of digital assets, including icons, banners, and specialized graphics for web applications. Collaborate with the development team to ensure that design specifications are accurately translated into the final product. Audit existing web interfaces to identify areas where the user experience can be simplified or improved. Maintain organized design files and documentation to ensure seamless collaboration within our remote team. Participate in design reviews by providing logical explanations for visual choices and layout decisions. Research modern design standards to ensure our projects remain accessible and functional across all devices. Support the marketing and analysis teams with visual materials for presentations and digital reports. What we are looking for A basic understanding of design principles including typography, grid systems, and color theory. Familiarity with design software such as Figma, Sketch, or the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. A portfolio or collection of academic or personal projects that demonstrate a clean and professional design style. An interest in how user interface design can improve the efficiency of logistics and financial operations. Strong attention to detail, especially regarding alignment, spacing, and visual consistency.
