Location: Singapore About The Role We are seeking a TA Engineer/DBA to support the design, administration, and continuous operation of enterprise applications and database environments. This role plays a critical part in maintaining system reliability, availability, and performance across multiple platforms, contributing directly to business continuity and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Manage and support multiple application platforms, ensuring stable operations, patching, and issue resolution Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical input on integration points such as web services, messaging queues, SFTP, and databases Implement and maintain operational processes including OS patching, application patching, backup, recovery, and housekeeping activities Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and fault-tolerant configurations Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and service disruption Administer and maintain Oracle and/or MS SQL databases, ensuring performance optimization and data integrity Support security compliance by implementing system hardening and vulnerability remediation practices Provide operational support when required, including responding to incidents outside business hours Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle 19c database administration Strong foundational knowledge in networking and server administration (Windows and Unix/Linux) Understanding of enterprise 3-tier application architecture Experience supporting high availability and fault-tolerant systems Hands-on experience in database administration (Oracle and/or MS SQL) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across application and infrastructure layers Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell Knowledge of web application architecture from front-end to backend systems Exposure to virtualization, containerization, and cloud infrastructure concepts Experience with IT security practices including system hardening and vulnerability assessments Hands-on experience with Oracle GoldenGate (OGG), Oracle AWR reports, and Oracle RAC setup
