Senior Application Database Administrator

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Application Database Administrator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled IT professional with strong experience in application security, database security, IAM/PAM, and enterprise security solutions to support a critical technology environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and securing enterprise applications and databases, implementing security controls, managing privileged access, supporting vulnerability and risk management, and ensuring compliance with information security standards. Position: Senior Application Database Administrator Employment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities: Administer, configure, secure, and support enterprise applications and database platforms. Implement and manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions. Manage privileged accounts, access controls, authentication, authorization, and least-privilege policies. Experience with CyberArk PAM solutions, including Vault, CPM, PVWA, PSM, PSMP, AIM and/or EPM, is highly desirable. Ensure secure configuration and hardening of databases and application platforms. Implement and maintain Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) and database security controls. SINDUSTRY IN LINKEDIN POST support data protection and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) initiatives. Monitor, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve security and access-related incidents. Support vulnerability assessments, remediation activities, patch management, and security hardening. Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions. Support security monitoring, incident response, log analysis, and forensic investigations when required. Assist with security risk assessments and compliance activities aligned with ISO 27001 and relevant information security standards. Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, security standards, and operational guidelines. Work closely with infrastructure, application, network, cybersecurity, and business teams to ensure secure and reliable IT operations. Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with organizational security policies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Cybersecurity , or a related field. 8+ years of relevant IT/security experience , preferably in enterprise environments. Strong experience in IAM, PAM, application security, and database security . Hands-on experience with CyberArk or other enterprise PAM solutions is highly preferred. Experience with privileged account management, access governance, authentication, and authorization. Knowledge of database security, application administration, and enterprise infrastructure. Knowledge of vulnerability management, risk assessment, security monitoring, and incident response. Understanding of ISO 27001 and information security governance. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
