About सादा / Saadaa We are a direct-to-consumer (D2C) lifestyle brand. Our vision is to advocate the सादा / SAADAA way of living and make बेहतर / BETTER basics for everyone. We are among the Top 1% Shopify stores in India — bootstrapped, profitable, and operating with industry-leading benchmarks. From a 100 sq. ft. garage to a 150+ member team in just 4 years, our journey reflects simplicity, clarity, and purpose-driven growth. Role Overview We are looking for a Shopify Developer who will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising our Shopify storefront. You will work closely with design, marketing, analytics, and business teams to build new website experiences, implement storefront updates, resolve technical issues, and ensure a seamless customer experience across devices. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, pays attention to detail, and wants to take ownership of Shopify development in a high-growth D2C environment. WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR? Develop, customise, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Build and implement new website sections, landing pages, components, and storefront features. Translate design and business requirements into responsive, functional, and production-ready web experiences. Manage Shopify theme customisations, JSON templates, sections, snippets, and other storefront components. Debug and resolve website issues, UI inconsistencies, functional bugs, and technical errors. Ensure consistent website experience across desktop, mobile, and different browsers. Conduct thorough QA and responsive testing before pushing changes to production. Support website updates, product launches, campaigns, and other time-sensitive storefront requirements. Identify and implement opportunities to improve website speed, performance, usability, and overall customer experience. Work with design, marketing, and analytics teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions effectively. Use Git for version control and maintain clean, structured, and scalable code. Monitor existing storefront functionality and proactively identify potential issues before they impact customers. Who You Are 2+ years of hands-on experience in Shopify theme development. Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience working with Shopify JSON templates and theme architecture. Strong understanding of responsive web development and cross-browser compatibility. Experience with Git and version control. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Experience in testing and QA for websites across desktop and mobile devices. Knowledge of Shopify CLI, Storefront API, Admin API, or GraphQL is a plus. Understanding of website performance optimisation, Core Web Vitals, accessibility, or technical SEO is a plus. Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues. Strong ownership and ability to independently take tasks from requirement to deployment. Clear communication and ability to collaborate effectively with design, marketing, analytics, and other teams. Curious to learn, experiment, and continuously improve the Shopify storefront and customer experience. WHY BE A PART OF सादा / SAADAA? Do you feel out of place in a world full of unnecessary complexities? Do you find joy in little things? Are you someone who naturally observes how things are made, improved, and optimised? Do you believe life is simple — people just overcomplicate it? Are you excited by the idea of learning something new every day? If yes, this is the right place for you. We believe the world is overloaded with complexity. At सादा / SAADAA, we simplify — products, processes, thinking. Better basics are not just products; they are a way of life. WHAT DO WE OFFER? A team of empathetic and purpose-driven problem solvers. The opportunity to work directly on a high-growth Shopify storefront and ecommerce business. The opportunity to build and improve experiences used by thousands of customers. A culture built on learning, clarity, ownership, and curiosity. Exposure to cross-functional projects across technology, design, marketing, analytics, and ecommerce. Freedom to explore, experiment, fail, and grow.

That number includes positions in India (9,577), Poland (3,429), the United States (1,753), Singapore (787), and Brazil (779). If you're looking to move or work remotely, check which countries match your goals — then filter WorkMundi by location to see what's actually hiring near you.
Most developer ads you'll see are written in English: 18,397 of the 24,795. That doesn't tell you whether the job itself requires you to speak English or work in English daily, so read each posting carefully. Don't assume the language of the ad matches the language of the team.
The employers posting the most developer roles are Link Group (369 jobs), Upvanta (257), jobgether (226), and OfferZen (212). If you're applying to any of these, research their hiring patterns. They move fast and post often, which means they're either scaling hard or replacing people who didn't fit.
In your interview, expect this: 'Walk me through the last time you had to debug something that took you more than an hour. What was it, what did you try first, and what would you do differently?' Hiring managers ask this to see if you think systematically or just try random fixes. Have a real example ready with specifics.
