Facad Lighting Designer

The Facade Lighting Designer will be responsible for creating innovative and aesthetically pleasing facade lighting concepts for a wide range of construction projects. This role involves collaborating with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to design lighting solutions that enhance the visual appeal and functionality of building exteriors while adhering to project budgets and timelines. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop facade lighting designs that meet project specifications and client expectations. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate lighting into building designs. Conduct site visits to assess and evaluate the architectural features and lighting requirements of projects. Prepare detailed lighting plans, specifications, and technical documentation for project implementation. Select appropriate lighting fixtures and control systems that align with the design intent and budget. Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations during the design process. Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders for feedback and approval. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and project constraints. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. Proven experience in facade lighting design within the construction industry, preferably 3-5 years. Proficiency in lighting design software (e.g., DIALux, AGi32) and other relevant design tools. Strong understanding of lighting technologies, including LED, fiber optics, and smart lighting systems. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage stakeholder expectations. Knowledge of building codes, energy efficiency standards, and sustainable design practices.
