The candidate will ensure data is clean, secure, reliable, and continuously available for AI systems. Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data. • Perform data normalization, deduplication, validation, and data modeling. • Work with pgvector, Redis Vector, and Azure AI Search. • Build hybrid search using vector search, BM25, indexing, and ranking. • Develop real-time/event-driven pipelines using Kafka, Spark, or Flink. • Build pipelines to continuously refresh embeddings and vector indexes. • Implement semantic chunking, metadata tagging, and embedding models for RAG. • Apply data governance, zero-trust security, privacy, and compliance controls. • Implement data quality, schema validation, and lineage using tools such as Great Expectations and OpenLineage. • Tune databases and pipelines for high-throughput and low-latency performance. Required Skills • Strong Data Engineering / ETL / SQL experience. • Hands-on experience with Kafka, Spark, or Flink. • Experience with pgvector, Redis, or Azure AI Search. • Strong understanding of Vector Search, Hybrid Search, BM25, and indexing. • Experience with Embeddings, RAG, semantic chunking, and AI data pipelines. • Knowledge of Data Governance, Data Quality, and Data Lineage. • Strong database performance tuning and optimization skills. • Great Expectations / OpenLineage experience is preferred. • Google GECX knowledge is a plus.
