Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time, with a 1-hour unpaid break; Full-time, 40 work hours per week Responsibilities: Book and schedule patient appointments for specialized doctors through professional, compassionate phone interactions. Conduct thorough patient account research prior to placing outbound calls to ensure highly personalized and efficient service. Navigate and master complex Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems to manage sensitive patient information securely. Operate multiple software systems simultaneously to track appointment queues and coordinate scheduling logistics. Handle high-volume inbound and outbound patient calls, inquiries, and follow-ups with an exceptional standard of professionalism and empathy. Maintain highly accurate scheduling records and complete patient files across various integrated data platforms. Partner closely with on-site medical staff to optimize daily appointment availability, manage cancellations, and streamline patient flow. Requirements: Strong verbal and written communication skills tailored for sensitive, professional patient interactions. High comfort level handling phone-based customer service and navigating confidential, emotionally sensitive conversations. Quick learner with the ability to master new software platforms, clinical workflows, and basic medical terminology. A reliable, high-speed internet connection to ensure optimal remote EMR software performance. A dedicated home office space with a professional, distraction-free setup suitable for secure patient calls. Preferred Qualifications: Previous professional experience in customer service, retail, or general administrative assistance.
