We're looking for a commercially minded, hands-on Marketing Manager to lead the marketing calendar and execute strategies that drive brand awareness, digital engagement and, most importantly, quality lead generation . Working directly with the CEO, you'll have the autonomy to shape and execute the marketing strategy across SEO, content, paid advertising, email, social media, website optimisation and lead nurturing. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced digital marketer who enjoys owning the full marketing lifecycle - from strategy and campaign development through to execution, optimisation and reporting. What You'll Be Doing SEO & Content Strategy Develop and execute a best-in-class SEO strategy to improve organic search rankings and increase qualified website traffic. Create, manage and optimise engaging content across blogs, landing pages, website pages and social media. Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities for growth. Monitor content and SEO performance and continuously optimise based on results. Develop content that resonates with Australian consumers and supports the customer journey within the mortgage and lending market. Website Development & Conversion Optimisation Oversee website enhancement projects, ensuring an intuitive user experience, strong SEO performance and regularly updated content. Work with developers and designers to improve website functionality, speed and conversion rates. Implement A/B testing and other optimisation techniques to improve the customer journey. Explore and implement CRM integrations, chatbots and AI-driven marketing opportunities. Develop lead generation and remarketing campaigns that drive qualified traffic to the website. Social Media Management Manage and grow the company's presence across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, X and other relevant channels . Develop and manage a consistent social media content calendar. Create, manage and optimise paid social campaigns to generate leads and build brand awareness. Identify opportunities to generate B2C leads and B2B referral relationships through social channels. Build and nurture online communities, including Facebook groups, to increase engagement and strengthen relationships with prospective customers and referral partners. Lead Generation & Marketing Funnels Design and implement lead generation strategies across paid media, email, landing pages, gated content and other digital channels. Develop email marketing and nurturing campaigns using existing customer and prospect databases. Build and optimise marketing funnels designed to turn traffic into qualified enquiries. Monitor funnel performance and use data to improve conversion rates at every stage. Partner closely with the sales team to align marketing activity with commercial objectives and maintain a consistent pipeline of quality leads. Digital Advertising & Campaign Management Plan, launch and manage digital advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Meta and other relevant platforms . Continuously monitor, test and optimise campaigns to improve performance and maximise ROI. Manage lead generation and remarketing campaigns across multiple channels. Track campaign performance and provide recommendations for ongoing improvement. Marketing Projects & Team Support Lead additional marketing projects and campaigns as required. Review and improve marketing and training materials. Coordinate with existing marketing contractors and assess the effectiveness of current campaigns. Recommend and implement improvements based on performance. Where required, delegate and provide guidance to interns or junior marketing team members. Manage external providers and outsourced creative resources to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard. Analytics & Reporting Use platforms such as Google Analytics, SEMrush and social media analytics tools to monitor marketing performance. Produce regular reporting across campaign performance, website traffic, SEO, lead generation and conversion. Translate marketing data into clear, actionable insights. Use results to continually refine the marketing strategy and identify new growth opportunities. What You'll Bring A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related discipline. 3-5+ years' experience in digital marketing, ideally within a broad, hands-on marketing role. Strong experience across SEO, lead generation, content creation, paid advertising, email marketing and social media management . Experience working with Australian businesses is highly regarded, particularly within mortgage broking, lending, financial services or related industries . A proven track record of increasing website traffic, generating qualified leads and supporting sales growth through effective marketing strategies. The confidence and capability to independently manage a marketing calendar and execute campaigns from concept through to completion. Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to campaign optimisation. Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress , with a working understanding of HTML and CSS. Graphic design skills and experience with Canva or similar platforms will be highly regarded. Video editing capability is an advantage, as is experience effectively managing outsourced creative resources. Excellent written communication skills and the ability to create compelling content for an Australian audience.
