Job Summary We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will support and develop market risk applications for one top financial institution in US. You will join a global team of professionals providing services to major clients in the financial industry. Work Schedule This is a late-shift position. Working hours will be either 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM , depending on business requirements. Candidates must be comfortable working these hours on an ongoing basis. Key Responsibilities Provide support for market risk applications, including monitoring, incident resolution, and problem management. Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL-based solutions to support business and market risk functions. Handle business-critical incidents, including stakeholder communication and post-incident reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data integration, reporting, and analytics requirements. Document operational procedures, workflows, and technical solutions. Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the reliability and performance of applications and data processes. Core Competencies Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken). Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote global team. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in IT, including at least 2 years working on financial services projects, preferably within the Market Risk domain. Strong experience in SQL and database development, preferably with Microsoft SQL Server. Proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of relational and dimensional databases, as well as data warehouse concepts. Experience developing stored procedures, queries, and database objects in Microsoft SQL Server. Good understanding of ETL/ELT and data warehousing concepts, with hands-on experience using ETL/ELT tools; SSIS is a plus. Experience with Microsoft SSIS packages. Working experience with Python, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory (ADF). Experience with job scheduling and automation tools. Experience using Jira, Confluence, and Git for project collaboration and change management. Strong testing and troubleshooting skills. Why Join Evalueserve?
