Role Description The Senior Audit Assistant is a full-time role based in Rajkot with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some tasks to be completed from home while maintaining regular on-site client and office presence. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in planning and executing financial audits, reviewing financial statements, and supporting the preparation of audit reports in line with applicable standards. The role involves analyzing financial information, identifying variances or risks, and documenting findings clearly and accurately. The Senior Audit Assistant will collaborate with clients to gather required data, clarify audit queries, and help implement recommendations. This position may also support the development of internal processes, contribute to quality control of audit documentation, and provide guidance to junior team members when needed. Qualifications Strong foundation in Finance and ability to interpret and apply financial concepts in audit contexts. Hands-on experience with Financial Statements , including preparation, review, and reconciliation. Proven capability in conducting Financial Audits and supporting end-to-end audit engagements. Experience in drafting and reviewing Audit Reports with clear, accurate, and compliant documentation. Advanced Analytical Skills for identifying trends, discrepancies, and potential areas of risk. Relevant academic background, such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, or equivalent in progress/qualified) are an advantage. Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools; familiarity with audit methodologies and standards. Strong attention to detail, integrity, and adherence to confidentiality and professional ethics. Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients. Ability to manage deadlines, work independently in a hybrid setting, and adapt to diverse client requirements.
