Interested candidates, kindly mail to enpcareers.hr@ril.com Main Purpose: Lead the corrosion and inspection management program to ensure the integrity, reliability, and safe operation of static assets. Develop and implement corrosion monitoring, inspection, and Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) strategies to maximize asset life, ensure regulatory and statutory compliance, minimize operational risks, and support safe, reliable, and cost-effective plant operations. Job Accountabilities: 1. Corrosion Management Develop and implement the annual Corrosion Monitoring and Inspection Plan aligned with business and asset integrity objectives. Monitor corrosion mechanisms, corrosion rates, and degradation trends through systematic data analysis. Compare inspection results with baseline data to identify deterioration trends and recommend corrective or preventive actions. Develop mitigation strategies for high-risk corrosion areas and monitor the effectiveness of corrosion control measures. Optimize corrosion inhibitor (CI) injection programs and robust coating/paint systems based on monitoring data and operational conditions. Support fitness-for-service assessments and remaining-life evaluations of static equipment. 2. Inspection & Asset Integrity Establish and maintain baseline thickness measurements for all critical static equipment and piping. Plan, coordinate, and execute periodic inspections in accordance with RBI methodology and applicable inspection procedures. Lead inspection activities during plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and major maintenance campaigns. Coordinate and oversee Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities, including RT, UT, PT, and MT. Ensure equipment remains fit for service through timely inspection, assessment, and repair recommendations. 3. Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) Develop, implement, and continuously improve RBI programs in accordance with API 580/581 methodologies. Prioritize inspection activities based on risk assessments to optimize inspection resources and improve asset reliability. Review inspection findings and update RBI strategies based on degradation mechanisms and operational history. 4. SAP Maintenance Management & GE Meridium Plan and manage preventive maintenance (PM) activities within the SAP PM module. Create, update, and optimize task lists, maintenance plans, and equipment master data. Monitor SAP work orders to ensure timely execution and closure of inspection and corrosion-related activities. Maintain accurate inspection records and asset history within SAP. Hands-on working experience and a deep understanding of GE Meridium integration are desirable. Create inspection recommendations and manage inspection summaries for each equipment item/piping loop in SAP. 5. Regulatory Compliance & Governance Ensure full compliance with applicable statutory regulations, including Factory Rules, the Explosives Act, and other relevant regulatory requirements. Identify equipment subject to statutory inspection and establish inspection frequencies. Maintain statutory inspection records and ensure timely submission of compliance documentation. Participate in internal and external audits, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), incident investigations, and emergency response/mock drills. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset integrity. 6. Technical Leadership Provide technical guidance on corrosion control, inspection methodologies, and material selection. Mentor and develop corrosion and inspection engineers and technicians. Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, Projects, and Process Engineering teams to resolve integrity-related issues. Support plant modifications, new projects, and Management of Change (MOC) activities from an asset integrity perspective. Skills Required: Strong expertise in corrosion engineering, asset integrity management, and inspection. Thorough understanding of corrosion mechanisms affecting Oil & Gas facilities, including upstream and downstream/refinery operations, petrochemical, and fertilizer industries. Strong knowledge of NDT techniques, including RT, UT, PT, and MT. Working knowledge of Fitness-for-Service (API 579) principles is preferred. Proficiency in API 510 – Pressure Vessel Inspection, API 570 – Piping Inspection, API 571 – Damage Mechanisms, API 580/581 – Risk-Based Inspection, API 653 – Tank Inspection, ASME Codes, NACE/AMPP Standards, OISD Standards, Factory Rules, and PESO requirements. Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering. Experience: Specific Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a lead role in Corrosion, Inspection, and Asset Integrity.
